Dear Choir Member,

In mid June a small but hardy band of singers braved the wind, cold & steep climb to enjoy the NCC picnic! A good time was had by all.

Our first rehearsal will be on Tuesday 14th September and this term we will be singing John Rutter's Gloria for choir, brass, percussion & organ, several of Vaughan Williams' folk-song arrangements plus some Carols. Neil will be in charge again.

This year the term's subscription will be £25 (free for students). As always we need extra time in the first couple of sessions to register and collect subscriptions, so please arrive at 7pm for the first and second week, so there's time for some music.

Other rehearsals are on Tuesdays from 7.30pm until 9.15pm with a break at about 8.15pm. In the last few terms, our starting time has been slipping towards 7.40, so please arrive early so that we can start promptly at 7.30

This term we will be rehearsing in the Drama Hut: from the road that's round the left-hand side of the main buildings and left adjacent to a square of tarmac.

If you want to sing this term you should register - at the latest - by 28th September (the third Tuesday). We do expect all choir members to try to come to every rehearsal - most of us need the practice, and if you don't we need your support.

New members are always welcome, and if you know someone who would like to sing (even if they don't know it) drag them along...

Our concert will be on Friday 3rd December at St Mary Brookfield, Dartmouth Park Road, NW5. Admission by programme will be £8 (£4 for concessions).
